Soak one cup pitted dates in warm water until soft, about 15 minutes. Mix 1/2 cup almonds, 1/2 cup pecans, 1/3 cup cocoa powder, 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut, 1/3 cup coconut oil and 1 tbsp chia seeds. Blend in food processor. Add dates and process. If mixture is too dry, add a little water or coconut oil. Roll mixture into bite size balls, then roll balls in shredded coconut. Chill until ready to serve.
